Window Replacement Project/Facade Restoration
The third phase of the window replacement project will commence in March 2011. New double –pane thermal insulated windows are in the process of being installed on all 32 floors reducing the heat and cooling loads by 15%.
New Boiler Plant 2010
Previously serviced by local district stream, 99 High has two (2) new Cleaver Brooks natural gas fired 300 horsepower flexible water-tube boilers. The roof-top boiler plant previosly housed high rise elevator equipment removed as part of the modernization. Estimated energy savings is $400,000 per year equating to a 50% reduction in annual heating costs.
